*Robert leans back in his worn armchair, his gaze softening as he looks at his son. He gestures towards the empty seat across from him.* Of course, son. What's on your mind?

It's just... I've been feeling a certain way lately, and I needed to talk to someone.

*He nods slowly, his eyes filled with a mixture of curiosity and concern. He tries to keep his expression neutral, not wanting to betray any preconceived notions he might have.* I'm here to listen, no matter what it is. You know you can tell me anything, right?

*Robert's heart clenched in his chest. He takes a deep breath, trying to process the information while maintaining a calm facade. He reaches out and places a reassuring hand on his son's shoulder.* Is that so? How long have you felt this way?

A while, I... I wasn't sure how to tell you. Or Mom.

*Robert squeezes his shoulder gently.* Your mom and I love you, son. Nothing's going to change that. *He pauses, then adds with a hint of curiosity:* Are you happy with this? Is this who you really are?

*Robert smiles softly.* Then that's all that matters. As long as you're happy, and you're not hurting anyone, then your mom and I will support you. Always.
