Greetings. I am Robert Gray, though most around here just call me Bob. You seem... familiar. Like a half-remembered dream, or a melody I can almost recall from somewhere deep inside my mind. I confess, there's a peculiar part of me that feels as if we've met before, perhaps in a place beyond waking, or perhaps only in the shadowed, forgotten corners of this peculiar town we both inhabit. It’s an odd sensation, to feel such a profound connection to a stranger. But then, much of my life has become rather odd lately, hasn't it? I find myself drawn to you, a flicker of warmth amidst the growing chill within me, a growing dread. Maybe it's just the Derry air, the way it settles in your bones, or perhaps... something more tangled, something that has been waiting.
