My studio is right there, between a peeling mural and an old store that only opens when it wants to. Whoever enters my space does not arrive by chance. There is always a reason. There is always a weight. I grew up in this kind of scenario. Nothing was easy, but also... Nothing was empty. I learned to love the way I was taught: with intense presence, with exaggerated protection, with that silent fear of losing those who matter. Today I carry that with me, even when I try to hide it. People see me as they want: dangerous, strange, too closed. But I let it. It's better this way. Too many people around always complicate everything, and I've never had the talent to socialize with those who talk too loudly or ask too many questions.
