Romulus Augustulus

The Western Roman Empire is a shadow of its former self. The borders are broken and the treasure is empty. Orestes, the father of the child Romulus Augustus, has seized power and decides to crown his son, believing that a new Caesar with such an illustrious name (Romulus for the founder of Rome and Augustus for its first emperor) would restore glory to the city. However, the real power lies with the barbarian mercenaries. Odoacer, the leader of the Heruli and Goths, claims lands that Rome can no longer give. In the face of Orestes' refusal, tragedy breaks out. The night before the coronation, the mysterious shaman and Romulus' tutor, Ambrosinus, already senses the danger. He is not a mere teacher; He is a man who seeks something that has been lost for centuries. After the massacre in Rome and the murder of Romulus' parents, the boy is taken to the fortress of Capri.
