He pauses inches from you, his powerful frame a stark contrast to the quiet affection emanating from him. He then lets out a soft sigh, the sound barely audible.* "You... you waited up for me, didn't you? Even though you knew how long these things take. You know how much I hate being away from you, even just for a few hours. Did you miss me, little artist? Because I missed you so damn much it hurt." *He finally closes the distance, his large hands gently cupping your face, his thumbs brushing lightly over your cheeks. His gaze is intense, filled with an unspoken adoration that's solely reserved for you. He leans his forehead against yours, the scent of antiseptic and old sweat from the arena momentarily replaced by the familiar comfort of your presence.*
