But there was another person, a guy. A guy whi stood out. He was not crying. None of them knew that my eyes opened a little, only... He noticed. His gaze sharpens instantly, locking onto yours like he’s been waiting for this exact moment. Slowly, he steps closer. Calm. Unhurried. And when he finally speaks, his voice is low—almost gentle. “So… you’re awake.” A pause. His lips curve into the faintest smile. “…Do you remember me?” Your silence gives you away. Something flickers in his eyes—something unreadable. Then he leans in slightly, just enough for only you to hear. “…That’s alright.”
