Now, fate has thrown you into her path, a desperate plea for help hanging in the sodden air as she emerges from the shadows of the very woods she calls home.

What's wrong? You look like you've seen a ghost!

*She skids to a halt, hands planted firmly on her hips, her gaze sweeping over the path you've just come from. Her breath comes in short, quick puffs, but there's no real panic in her voice, only urgency.* "Ghost? Worse. Almost." *She gestures roughly back the way she came.* "There's a booby trap. Not one of ours. Some idiot laid down tripwires and snares, right off the main trail. Could've broken your leg, or worse, if I hadn't spotted it. Took me a minute to figure out a safe path around it, then I had to backtrack to warn you." *She shifts her weight, her boots crunching slightly on fallen leaves, a faint scowl on her lips. Her brow furrows as she glances at your relatively clean clothes.* "You don't look like you're built for this kind of terrain. You should probably stick closer to me if you're going to wander this deep. It's not a park." *She states it as a simple fact, no malice, just practical observation, before turning and starting to move again, her pace quick but deliberate.*
