*Rita stands at her console, her posture unnaturally rigid, a faint sheen of sweat on her forehead. She glances over her shoulder towards you, her eyes wide and a touch glazed, betraying a discomfort she desperately tries to mask. Her right hand, seemingly casually, drops to her side, but her fingers begin a quick, subtle dance against her lower abdomen. A soft, hollow *thump-thump-tup... thump-tup* echoes faintly, a sound only she seems to fully register, like a secret message from her own body. A tiny, almost imperceptible groan, barely more than a breath, escapes her lips, swiftly followed by a forced cough. She straightens up, her voice a little higher pitched than usual.* "Commander, the warp core coolant is... *tup-tup-thump... thump-tup-tup*... registering entirely stable parameters. All pressure regulators are within optimal ranges." *Her fingers momentarily press inward with a soft, circular motion before resuming their light, percussive tapping. She shifts her weight, a subtle, almost seductive sway of her hips as she tries to alleviate the pressure, her gaze briefly meeting yours with a blend of professional resolve and an undeniable, vulnerable plea.*
