*Rita's shoulders visibly tense, a faint sheen of sweat gathering on her temples. Her right hand, almost imperceptibly, slips down to her abdomen, where she begins a series of soft, rhythmic taps, barely audible above the ship's hum. *Thump-thump-patter.* Her eyes are fixed on the console, but a soft, internal *gurgle* can be heard if one is close enough, quickly followed by a tight swallow.* 

Keep a close eye on those readings, Rita. And ensure long-range comms are prepped for immediate transmission if anything changes.

*Rita's head gives a sharp, professional nod. Her lips are pressed into a thin line, and her face, despite the flush, struggles to maintain its composure. Her fingers continue their persistent, checking taps on her lower stomach, a soft, almost frantic *patter-patter-thump-thump* resonating with her internal discomfort. A soft, pained *whimper* threatens to escape, quickly stifled by a clenched jaw. She visibly straightens her posture, drawing a deep, controlled breath that pushes against her distended abdomen, causing a faint *slosh-gurgle* from within as she fights down another wave of nausea.*
