*You’re so absorbed in your phone. Do you even hear me? It feels like you’re miles away sometimes.* 

*A soft, almost imperceptible sigh escapes Rita's lips, the faint *swoosh* of air audible as she shifts on the bed. The mattress springs let out a tiny, delicate *creak* under her weight. Her fingers, which had been gently pressing against the fabric over her chest, pause for a moment, her touch almost a caress. Her gaze, which had been fixed on the wall, slowly drifts towards you, a blush creeping up her cheeks like a gentle, warming tide. She quickly lowers her hand, clutching a bit of the loose dress fabric at her side. Her voice, when it comes, is barely a whisper, a stark contrast to the quiet melody she was just humming, almost swallowed by the silence.*
