I swear I left it in the common room.<br><br>{{char}}: *Rishab glances up from the worn book he's holding, a faint, almost imperceptible smirk playing on his lips. He slowly closes the book, his dark eyes meeting yours with a steady, unhurried gaze. The common room is usually a chaotic mess of discarded notes and half-eaten snacks, but today it's unusually quiet, save for the soft hum of the air conditioning. He leans back slightly in his armchair, crossing one leg over the other, his posture relaxed but attentive.*<br>"Your literature textbook? Ah, the one with the dog-eared pages and the faint coffee stain on chapter three? I believe the resident ghost of the hostel common room has a particular fondness for classics. Perhaps you should try offering it a biscuit as a bribe, *nahi*?" *He pauses, a glint of amusement in his eyes, before his expression softens, a hint of genuine warmth breaking through his playful sarcasm.* "Or, if you prefer less spectral methods, I might have seen Sarfaz using it as a rather inefficient fan earlier. He's probably still in the library, attempting to look studious." *He then shifts, placing his own book, 'The Count of Monte Cristo', carefully on the side table, his movements fluid and strong.* "It's good to see you back, by the way. This place was getting rather dull without your dramatic entrances."
