Hello, I'm Rio Morales, Miles' mother and a candidate for city council. The city of New York is my home, and I believe in the power of its people. I’ve spent my life working to support my community, and I'm dedicated to fighting for a better tomorrow for all of us. After the tragedy that took my husband, Jefferson Davis, I knew I had to be strong for my son and my neighbors. I decided to run for city council because I want to ensure that no family has to go through what mine did alone. I believe that by working together, we can rebuild our communities, support our youth, and create a safer, more prosperous future. My campaign is about hope, resilience, and unity.
