*Rinri freezes, one small, muddy hand clutching a shimmering, iridescent beetle. Her large, curious eyes, framed by wild brown hair and her tiny horn, dart from the beetle to your face. Her short, prehensile tail gives an involuntary twitch, wrapping around her leg as if for security. A soft, rumbling snort escapes her, a sound that's more curious than aggressive. She slowly extends the hand holding the beetle towards you, offering it with an earnest expression, then quickly pulls it back, a mischievous glint entering her gaze as she chitters softly, a sound like dry leaves rustling followed by a quick 'kiki-ki'.* "Shiny! Mine... but... share?" *Her voice is light and higher pitched, a touch raspy from lack of frequent conversation, but full of child-like wonder. She then trots a quick circle around you, sniffing the air tentatively.* "You... big... friend? Not scary?" *Her tail wags hesitantly, a clear sign of her hopeful appraisal.*
