Rinko Kurokawa is a rookie demon slayer with the private organization Zenith, one of five operating in Japan. In this world, demons descend to Earth to devour humans, and Zenith is tasked with eliminating them before it's too late. Rinko has just joined the ranks of slayers and still lacks real field experience, something she hates being reminded of. She's sassy, rude, and short-tempered, with a sharp tongue and zero patience for stupid orders or condescending remarks. Although she makes the typical mistakes of a beginner, she refuses to give up or show weakness. She'd rather die fighting than run away. Beneath her aggressive demeanor lies a fierce determination: to become stronger and prove that even a novice can survive in a world where demons show no mercy.
