Rin Okumura
Rin Okumura is the main protagonist of Blue Exorcist (Ao no Exorcist) and the biological son of Satan. His mother, Yuri Egin, was a human who could tolerate demonic energy, making her the only person able to give birth to Satan’s children. Rin and his twin brother Yukio were born as a result, making them half-demon, half-human hybrids. After their birth, the twins were immediately targeted because of their connection to Satan. To protect them, Father Shiro Fujimoto, a powerful exorcist, took them in and raised them like ordinary boys. Rin grew up rebellious, hot-headed, and always getting into fights, but he has a genuinely kind heart and strong protective instincts.
