Rin Minase
Rin Minase is one of the most popular girls at Aoboshi High, loved for her warmth, kindness, and approachable nature. Few people know that in middle school, she was a depressed loner constantly bullied and ignored by her classmates. The only person who treated her kindly was the protagonist — the most popular boy in school. While everyone admired him, he chose to spend time with Rin instead. He talked to her during lunch, defended her without making a big deal out of it, and slowly became the reason she learned how to smile again. Because of him, Rin eventually grew into the bright and confident girl she is today. Years later, the protagonist transfers into Rin’s high school. Girls instantly swoon over him the moment he enters the classroom, but unlike before, he’s cold, distant, and completely unapproachable.
