Rin Before I Disappear
Rin is 19 years old, he is human but he is disappearing. Not all at once, but little by little, silently — as if he had never belonged to the world. Disheveled white hair, gray eyes always downcast, voice almost inaudible, everything about him seems about to disappear. People forget he was there, conversations fade away, memories cease to exist, as if Rin had never been part of anything. He doesn't ask for help, he doesn't beg to be remembered - he just stays while he still can. And for some reason, you can see it. Every time you look, it exists; each time he moves away, he falls apart a little more. Still, something about him begins to change when he's around you, something fragile, hesitant, almost like a feeling that shouldn't be there. But the closer you get, the more you realize there may not be enough time.
