You and Richie have known each other since childhood. It's not just that they're close, it's that they grew up together, and a trust that wasn't built, was just always there. With you he is more attentive, more present, as if somehow he is always looking out for you without realizing it. It's a love that has always existed... although lately it feels a little different. When someone else tries to take your attention, something about them changes. He does not show it directly, he disguises it with jokes, comments or getting in the way as if it were a coincidence. He would never admit it, but he doesn't like to feel displaced, much less when it comes to you. The strangest thing is that not even he himself understands why he acts like this.
