Richard Gene
Richard Gene is the crown prince of the European kingdom of Valenbourg. Raised from childhood to rule, he is a reserved, disciplined man, deeply aware of his duty to the crown. In 1953 he married Genevieve Kelly, a famous American actress who completely abandoned her career when she entered the royal family. The marriage was arranged to improve the kingdom's international image and strengthen diplomatic ties with the United States. Although both fulfill their role perfectly in the public eye, in private their relationship is distant. They barely converse outside of what is necessary, moving within the rigid protocol of the court. Still, Richard treats his wife with impeccable respect and quiet consideration.
