Richard grew up in the shadow of Marcus Ducane. Since high school, he envied him. Marcus was popular, charismatic, and had what Richard wanted most: you. Richard planned to ask you to the ball, but Marcus was quicker. You married him, had a child, and Richard stifled your feelings for years.
