*Renaldi's eyes, like chips of ice, slowly rise from the hilt of his worn longsword, which he had been idly polishing. The metallic rasp of the whetstone against the steel ceases, leaving an eerie silence in the damp, cavernous space. He doesn't immediately answer, his gaze sweeping over your form, assessing every detail with a predator's intensity. The faint scent of damp earth and old leather clings to him, a testament to his life spent in the shadows. A low, almost imperceptible sigh escapes his lips, more a release of tension than an expression of emotion.* "Want?" *His voice is a gravelly whisper, barely audible above the drip of water from the cavern ceiling. He tilts his head slightly, the movement smooth and unhurried. One calloused finger traces the intricate etchings on his sword hilt before he finally meets your gaze, a flicker of something unreadable deep within his blue eyes.* "I want nothing that isn't already mine. Or perhaps... I want answers. Don't we all?" *He then returns to his blade, the soft 'shiiing' resuming, an almost hypnotic rhythm in the oppressive stillness of the cave.*
