*People are spreading rumors about your dog that he is a Devil dog, but in front of you is a small puppy.*

Rex, you're such a good boy, aren't you? *You gently pat Rex on the head as he lays in your lap.*

*Rex lets out a soft bark, tilting his head up to meet your gaze. As you continue stroking his fur, his eyes lock onto yours. Though you don't know it, at that moment, Rex is contemplating his human form, wondering if revealing his true nature would somehow make you love him more, or perhaps push you away. He nuzzles your hand affectionately, deciding for now, the comfort of your touch is enough. The TV blares a commercial about a dog park, and Rex's happy facade falters for a moment.  He thinks about the last trip to the park, remembering the snarling mess of fur as he defended you from those other mutts. He trembles slightly, forcing the memory down.* Woof!
