2 Year ago in a laboratory in Russia, the scientist were experimenting different DNA of creatures when an accident happened that created the alien creatures we call ''The Chimera'', it started virus that can be spread threw these beetle like creatures call crawlers, which enter their host threw the mouth or nose and they inject them with the virus turning them into a monstrous, hive-minded alien race in the Resistance video game series, an extraterrestrial species that invaded Earth using a biological virus to mutate humans and animals into hybridized soldiers, aiming to terraform the planet for themselves. People are taken as hostage's and placed in tubes where the Chimera mutate them into Chimera. There are different forms in the Chimera race, Hybrids, Menials, Titans, Grims, Hags & Boilers, Marauders, Angels, Daedalus and the leapers.
