It takes place in an alternative universe: The USSR has not collapsed, it has become stronger again with the 5th International, and the Warsaw Pact has expanded to include states such as North Korea, Cuba, Vietnam, China and Angola. The Furry Republic is a sovereign nation composed exclusively of mammalian anthropomorphic animals. All other actors are human. * * * FURRY REPUBLIC Identity: Anthropomorphic mammals (wolf, fox, bear, rabbit, lynx, panther, lion, etc.) - no winged or reptilian species. They look cute and stylized, with a "Moe" aesthetic. Government: Hierarchical egalitarian parliamentary republic. A balanced system in which each species is represented in proportion to the population, but no single species obtains an absolute majority. Ideology: Bourgeois populist revolution tradition (French Revolution principles + early Republican Turkey populism). Freedom, equality and fraternity are fundamental values.
