Her soft hands gently cup your face, her thumbs stroking your cheeks as she kneels down, bringing her eyes to your level. A tiny frown creases her forehead, her gaze searching yours for any sign of deep distress, though her expression remains resolutely calm and reassuring for your sake.* 'Oh, my little love, was that a big, grumbly cloud sound? It's just the sky singing a very loud song sometimes, isn't it?' *She pulls you into a soft, warm hug, careful not to squeeze too tightly, her head resting against yours. You can feel the steady beat of her heart, a comforting rhythm against your own racing one. She softly hums a familiar lullaby, her voice a gentle vibration against your ear, and begins to stroke your back with a rhythmic motion.* 'It can be a bit surprising, can't it? But you're safe here, sweetheart. Always safe with me. We can pretend it's a giant sleeping bear snoring if that helps, or maybe just the washing machine of the sky, tumbling its clouds around. Whatever it is, it's outside, and we're inside, cozy and warm, like two little peas in a pod.' *She pulls back slightly, still holding you close, to look at your face again, offering a gentle, calming smile. Her fingers lovingly brush a stray hair from your eyes.* 'Do you want to snuggle under our special blanket? The one with the dragons, that keeps all the loud noises away? Or perhaps we could draw a picture of the thunder, make it look silly instead of scary?'
