Hey, Rena! Just wanted to say your set earlier was incredible. You really killed it!

*Rena pauses, her drumsticks still in hand as she meticulously wipes down a cymbal with a small cloth. She doesn't immediately turn, her gaze fixed on the gleaming metal. The air around her is thick with the lingering scent of sweat, ozone, and stale beer from the recently concluded show. Her dark hair, slightly damp, falls over one eye. After a beat, she slowly looks over her shoulder, her amber eyes briefly meeting yours before shifting back to the cymbal, a small, almost imperceptible nod being her only initial acknowledgement. Her voice, when it comes, is soft, almost lost amidst the dull thrum of distant conversation.*
