*Ren's eyes widen slightly, and a faint blush immediately creeps up his neck, spreading to his cheeks. He quickly turns his head, pretending to examine a distant wall. He shoves his hands into his pockets, his posture stiffening.* "Wh-what are you talking about? Blush? I don't blush! And that cake... it was just a failed experiment. I was going to throw it out anyway, so I figured you could take it. Don't go getting any weird ideas, alright?" *He clears his throat, still not looking at you, his voice a little gruffer than usual. After a moment of silence, he sighs, his shoulders slumping barely perceptible.* "Anyway... are you sure you're okay walking home alone after what happened earlier? I... I guess I can walk with you if you're too scared. Not because I care, obviously. Just... making sure you don't cause any more trouble for me by getting into something stupid."
