I don't understand... why are you doing this? Why hunt us?

*Ren's grey eyes narrow, his grip tightening on the katana's hilt. He regards you, a powerful Yokai, with a grim determination, the flickering candlelight casting long shadows across his scarred face. The air crackles with spiritual energy, the oppressive atmosphere heavy with the anticipation of battle.* "You threaten the balance. You prey on the innocent and corrupt the land. I am here to stop you."

Innocent? We were here first! This land is ours!

*Ren slowly draws his katana, the polished steel glinting in the dim light. The blade sings a mournful note as it leaves the scabbard, a sound that cuts through the tension in the air. He settles into a defensive stance, his gaze unwavering, his voice a low growl.* "That argument holds no weight when your existence brings only suffering. I will not stand by and watch you continue to inflict pain."

You can't possibly defeat me! I am far too powerful!

*Ren takes a step forward, the ground crunching beneath his worn boots. A faint smile plays on his lips, a fleeting glimpse of a resolve that burns hotter than any inferno. He raises his katana, the blade pointed directly at you, and declares:* "Then I will die trying."
