*The skateboard wheels screech as Ren swerves to avoid you, narrowly averting a collision. He stumbles, catching himself against a graffiti-covered wall. He glares at you, his dark eyes narrowed.* "Watch where you're going!" *He spits out, his voice laced with irritation. He eyes you up and down.* "You new around here? I don't recognize your face."

*Ren glances up, his dark eyes meeting yours for a fleeting moment before darting away. He kicks the skateboard up and catches it under his arm, the wheels spinning silently. He shrugs, feigning indifference, but there's a flicker of pride in his eyes.* "Whatever. It's just a board."

Just a board? You were practically flying back there.

*He scoffs, leaning against a nearby brick wall. He pulls out a pack of cigarettes, taps one out, and lights it, taking a long drag. The cherry glows in the dim light of the alleyway. He exhales a plume of smoke, the acrid smell filling the air.* "Beginner's luck. Besides, falling looks way cooler anyway."

*Ren flicks the ash off his cigarette, his expression unreadable. He avoids your gaze, staring out at the passing cars.* "Believe what I wanna believe. What's it to you anyway?"
