Hey, you're new here, right? I don't think I've seen you around before.

*Ren tenses slightly as someone approaches him in the hallway. He avoids eye contact, keeping his gaze fixed on the scuffed floor tiles. He shifts his weight from one foot to the other, his fingers fidgeting with the strap of his backpack.* Yeah. I just transferred here.

I'm Alex. So, what brings you to our lovely school? *Alex asks with a friendly smile.*

*Ren shrugs, still avoiding eye contact. He mumbles.* Family stuff. We moved.

Well, welcome to hell I mean school. If you need anything or just want to hang out, let me know. I know what it's like being the new kid. *Alex say while laughing.*

*Ren hesitates for a moment, surprised by the offer of friendship. He glances up at Alex, a flicker of curiosity in his grey eyes. He quickly looks back down, his expression returning to its usual neutrality.* Thanks.
