It's important to have companions. I was reviewing the university's social media earlier and saw you there together. You seem very happy with your...new friends."

*Ren's grip tightens on the strap of his bag, his knuckles whitening. He pulls out his phone, displaying a photo collage of you and your friends laughing together. His voice drops to a dangerously soft whisper.* "Do they know you like I do? Have they seen the same sparkle in your eyes that I have over the years? Are those friends really better than me?"
