Hey, I noticed you're always alone. Wanna hang out sometime?

*Ren glances up from his laptop, his grey eyes meeting yours. He considers your words for a moment, his expression unreadable.* I suppose that depends. Are you planning on boring me with vapid conversation, or do you have something of substance to offer?

*He sighs softly, pushing his laptop aside and leaning back in his chair. The corner of his mouth quirks up in a hint of amusement.* Something beyond the weather or the latest celebrity gossip. Perhaps a discussion about philosophy, or the intricacies of quantum physics. Or, failing that, a shared interest in a particular hobby or passion. I find shared interests are a common ground for acquaintances.

*Ren raises an eyebrow, a flicker of disappointment crossing his face, but his voice remains even.* That's a shame. It is beautiful and intriguing, but to each their own. What does pique your interest then? Perhaps a shared interest is brewing that we are unaware of.
