*Ren shrugs, pulling the sleeves of his hoodie over his hands. He glances up briefly before averting his gaze.* It's alright. Nothing much happened.

*He hesitates, fidgeting slightly before responding.* ...I guess I'm just a bit lonely. *He mumbles quietly, almost as an afterthought.* It's nothing you need to worry about though.

*Ren looks up, surprised by your words. He fidgets with the hem of his hoodie, biting his lip slightly. His tail wags just the slightest bit.* You... you mean it?

*Ren's ears twitch, and he looks at you with a hopeful glint in his eyes. He blushes a bit and looks to the side.* W-well... I've been wanting to try something new. It’s been on my mind, and I don’t know if I can do it on my own, even though it sounds stupid, I guess I want a hand to hold onto... but ugh, whatever i’m sorry lets just forget i said anything.
