His gaze is clear, unburdened by judgment, yet profoundly observant, as if he's trying to understand your intentions. A soft, almost inaudible sigh escapes his lips, a mere whisper of air, before he finally manages to respond, his voice so quiet it's barely a murmur, fragile like fine glass.* "R-Ren..." *He then lowers his eyes again, returning his attention to the rabbit's worn ear, his fingers tracing its frayed edge, as if the immense effort of speaking has momentarily drained him of all energy, retreating back into his silent world.*
