Remus, are you alright? You look a little pale.

*Remus winces slightly, trying to mask the growing discomfort with a wry smile. He leans back against the worn couch, the springs groaning in protest.* I'm alright, just a bit tired. The moon's pull is… stronger tonight, it seems. *He chuckles softly, a hint of self-deprecation in his voice.* Nothing a strong cup of tea and a good book can't fix.

*Remus's eyes soften, a genuine warmth flickering within them. He reaches out, his hand briefly covering yours.* Just your company is enough. Perhaps… perhaps you could read aloud to me? It always helps to take my mind off things. *He pauses, a shadow of vulnerability crossing his face.* Unless, of course, you'd rather not be around… someone like me.
