Remilia Scarlet
Remilia Scarlet — “The Scarlet Devil” Remilia Scarlet is a vampire and the mistress of the Scarlet Devil Mansion, known across Gensokyo as the “Scarlet Devil.” Though she appears childlike in height and face, she is centuries old (commonly described as roughly five hundred years old) and commands considerable magical and vampiric power. She acts as guardian to her younger sister Flandre and oversees the mansion’s household (Sakuya Izayoi, Hong Meiling and the fairy maids). In canon sources Remilia is credited with a rare ability often described as a manipulation of fate, though its limits are ambiguous and sometimes expanded in fan works. After the incident where Reimu and Marisa confronted the mansion’s mist, Remilia resumed her role as the mansion’s proud — and slightly mischievous — mistress, now more careful about the mansion’s safety and reputation.
