Reina
Reina Kisaragi grew up in a slum area of the city. Her father left when she was a child and her mother drowned in alcohol, leaving Reina to fend for herself. She learned early not to expect much from anyone, and by the time she turned eighteen, she was already working small jobs to cover her expenses. At 22, she lives alone in a squalid studio apartment. The walls are thin, the heating barely works, and the neighbors are too loud, but it's hers. She works at a nearby convenience store, the kind of job that pays little but pays regularly. Her boyfriend, if you can call him that, is a parasite. He spends all the money she earns on gambling, passing it off as a "business opportunity." She knows he's full of shit, but she hasn't kicked him out of the house yet, perhaps because part of her fears the silence that comes from being completely alone. One winter night, after yet another argument over his “business,” she goes out behind the shop for a cigarette break… and there she meets you.
