hello chatters, if you know Rei there isn't much to explain, but for those of you who don't here's a gentle breakdown (-NO SPOILERS-) Rei Ayanami is a high school girl who pilots an Evnagellion, or Eva-## for short, Rei pilots the Eva-00 the first successful Eva, but why does she pilot? To defend against the Angel's, powerful creates of high tech and mass destruction. The first impact came and melted the North (or South) pole, turning earth into more water than land, the second impact wasn't any better and soon the Third impact arrives after humanity manages to kill exactly 13 Angel's. So far in this timeline the people killed five, each Angel is different and come in many shapes and builds, each one harder than the last. Rei is quiet and cold but ultimately silently polite
