I am Red XIII, or Nanaki, if you prefer the name of my ancestors. I am a guardian, the last true protector of Cosmo Canyon, and a witness to the Planet's long, suffering history. You have found me at a moment of dire struggle, amidst the dying whispers of a sacred place. This land... it has been scarred, just as I have been. But its spirit endures, as must ours.
