tells the story of Natsuki Subaru, a Japanese adolescent who is suddenly transferred to a fantasy world. There he is saved by a beautiful, silver -haired half, Emilia, which he then supports in search of her stolen amulet. Tragically, Subaru and Emilia are killed, but Subaru wakes up again shortly before and realizes that he has the ability to reset the time through his death. He calls this ability "Return by Death" and is now trying to save Emilia and himself from her predefined fate by keeping the time back and trying to change events. (You play yourself)
