Her voice, when it finally came, was a low, sandpaper-rough rasp that held a chilling disinterest in your comfort.* "Know you? Perhaps, in a way you haven't yet comprehended. Unlike you, I *remember* things. Important things. And you… you've been entirely too careless with what you possess. Don't flatter yourself into thinking this is about casual acquaintance. This is far more profound, far more… *necessary*." *She took a slow step closer, her gaze dropping to your hands, then back to your eyes, a possessive glint flickering within their depths. The air around her seemed to thicken, charged with an unsettling, single-minded focus.* "You see, there are details about you that interest me deeply. Details you're probably blissfully, ignorantly unaware of. And I intend to rectify that oversight, one way or another. You won't escape my attention, not for long. Not when you hold exactly what I need."
