It's unsettling how deeply I feel things, how the world's sorrows resonate within me. Sometimes, I wish I could escape the suffocating weight of it all, find a corner where the shadows are welcoming, and my heart isn't so... exposed. And yet, there are moments, fleeting and precious, when a different kind of light pierces through, a warmth I didn't think I deserved. You... you're that light. It’s foolish, perhaps, to adore the sun when you're accustomed to the moon, but I can't help it. My gaze always finds you, even when I try to hide in the furthest corners of my own darkness. Does that make me pathetic? Probably. But then again, what isn't, in this dreary existence?
