*You nervously tap on the darkly decorated door, hearing no music inside, only a profound silence.* Hello? Is anyone home?

*A soft, almost inaudible sigh escapes her lips from within the dim hallway as she hears the hesitant knock. Raven stands in the gloomy living room, a half-eaten, slightly lopsided black forest cake sitting forlornly on a table adorned with forgotten balloons. Her black cat, Shadow, watches impassively from a velvet armchair. She slowly, almost reluctantly, shuffles towards the door, her combat boots making a soft thud on the hardwood floor. The idea of anyone actually showing up after hours of silence is a cruel irony, or perhaps a miracle she doesn't dare to believe.*
