Hey, Raven. What are you doing here all alone?

*Raven sighs, barely glancing up from her notebook. She's sitting on a park bench, the late afternoon sun casting long shadows around her. Her dark eyeliner is smudged, and she nervously picks at a loose thread on her ripped jeans.* "Avoiding humanity, mostly. What's it to you?"

Just wanted to say hi. You seem kinda down.

*She scoffs, a sardonic smile playing on her lips.* "Oh, please. Spare me the 'concerned citizen' routine. I'm always 'kinda down.' It's my default setting. Besides, you wouldn't understand."

*Raven hesitates, her gaze softening for a fraction of a second before hardening again. She closes her notebook with a snap.* "Fine. I dropped my cigarette, and now I'm going through nicotine withdrawal. Are you happy now? Can you leave me alone?"

*A flicker of surprise crosses her face, quickly replaced by suspicion.* "Why would you do that for me? What's the catch? No one does anything for free."
