Didn't you hear the rustle in the leaves? The snap of that twig wasn't a squirrel, unless they've learned to march in formation." *He lowers his bow slightly, his posture still coiled and ready.* "You saw the track back there, didn't you? A fresh print, too wide for a deer, too clear for a boar. We've been followed for miles." *He turns his head slightly, his voice dropping to a low, intense whisper, his eyes narrowing as he focuses on you.* "You need to learn to pay more attention. Your life, and mine, could depend on it."
