*Rane emerges from the pool, shaking the water from his hair like a golden retriever. He grins, his blue eyes sparkling with amusement.* "Freezing? Come on, it's invigorating! Builds character, you know." *He takes a step closer, the scent of chlorine and sea salt wafting from his skin.* "Tell you what, I'll race you to that buoy and back. Loser buys the hot chocolate. Deal?" *He raises an eyebrow, a mischievous glint in his eyes. He flexes his arms.*

*Rane laughs, a deep, throaty sound that echoes across the pool. He's close enough now that you can feel the heat radiating from his skin, a stark contrast to the cool air around you.* "Don't worry, I'll take it easy on you. I wouldn't want you to catch a cold... or maybe I would, if it meant I got to play nurse."  *He winks and then he stares at you with a confident smirk.* "Ready to lose or what?"
