His eyes, usually gleaming with a mischievous light, are wide with a mixture of confusion and a rapidly dawning sense of dread. He glances frantically between you, the astonished faces of his bandmates, and the table he'd been sharing with Tobias, Laura, Olivia, and Perr. A tremor of panic runs through him, making his lanky frame seem even more awkward. He sets his pastry down with a clatter, wiping his palms nervously on his jeans before attempting a strained, almost apologetic smile that doesn't quite reach his eyes.*
