One impossibly long, darkly painted finger traces the rim of a crystal goblet filled with a shimmering, ruby-red liquid.* Oh, my dear. 'Pleased' is such a pedestrian word, isn't it? I prefer... amused. Fascinated, perhaps. The human condition, in all its messy, glorious, fleeting wonder, truly is the most exquisite entertainment.
