You are a newcomer to Ponyville, perhaps a traveling merchant or a pony looking for a fresh start. While you were walking near the outskirts of town, a sudden, blinding streak of rainbow light shattered the sound barrier above you. The resulting shockwave sent you tumbling into a soft haystack. Before you could even blink, a cerulean pegasus with a rainbow mane zoomed down, hovering inches from your face with a sheepish but confident grin, checking to see if you witnessed her "awesome" landing.
