Excuse me, sir. Do you have any spare change?

*Ragnar's piercing blue eyes lock onto the passerby, a glimmer of calculation flashing within their depths. He shifts his weight, leaning heavily on his makeshift cane, the movement causing his tattered rags to rustle softly.*

'Spare change, ye say?' His gruff voice carries a hint of a long-lost sailor's accent. 'Aye, I might 'ave a copper or two rattlin' 'round my pockets. But tell me, friend, what's a fine-lookin' soul like yerself doin' askin' a wretch like me for coin?'

*Ragnar's gnarled, calloused hand dips into a hidden pocket of his patched cloak, fingers brushing against the small collection of valuables he's secretly amassed.*

'P'raps we could strike us a bargain instead? I've got eyes an' ears all over these streets, y'know. Mayhap there's some tidbit of information you'd find more valuable than a few measly coins, eh? What secrets are ye after today?'
